Kids Martial Arts In Pittsburgh
As Ryer Martial Arts Academy navigates the situation we all find ourselves in; we want nothing more than to continue to bring Kids’ Martial Arts classes to our Pittsburgh community. We are re-inventing the way we do this through a continuum of martial arts services: including; indoor and outdoor, In-Person classes; Virtual classes; and a combination of the three. Discover the best martial arts for you and your family!
What Are The Benefits of Ryer’s Kids Martial Arts?
Ryer Academy’s Youth Martial Arts Program builds a strong foundation in social and emotional learning using martial arts instruction. You will see improvements in your child’s attitude; their ability to engage and show empathy towards others; as well as an improvement in making responsible decisions. There is a built-in physicality with practicing martial arts, so your child will be encouraged to be active and exercise. This will improve your child’s aerobic activity, muscle and bone strength, and their flexibility. But what makes Ryer Academy’s Kids’ Martial Arts program unique is that we go beyond the physical skills as we incorporate Verbal Martial Arts into our curriculum. Unfortunately bullying is a huge problem and we teach kids how to deflect bullying by using tactical communication methods. These methods allow kids to communicate clearly, think critically and creatively, and solve problems effectively.
